Vidsys and Quantum Secure to Speak on Enabling Situational Awareness at the World Trade Center at ASIS International 2011

Presentation Will Provide Best Practices for Taking a Holistic, Collaborative Approach to Site-Wide Security

Tim Galvin of VidSys and Laurie Aaron of Quantum Secure will join Lou Barani of the World Trade Center at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, Phil Santore of DVS Security on a panel entitled “Innovative Situation Awareness At the New World Trade Center: Security Intelligence Through the Integration of Identities & Events Site-Wide.”

What:            
Functioning as its own connected city, the new WTC is one of the most complex security challenges in the world. Over 16 acres, it features six towers, a major transportation hub, the September 11th Memorial Museum, a performing arts center, a vehicle security center and retail stores. 

During this session, executives from the World Trade Center and DVS Security will explain their risk assessment process and how they developed the vision of the situation awareness platform (SAPS) for holistic approach to identity management and physical security integration. Quantum Secure and VidSys will explain how this vision is being brought to life through the use of technology and how an integrated approach to identity and situation management site-wide can significantly reduce operational costs, as it has a profound impact on reducing risk.
