“Solutions will continue to move beyond physical security to the broader Converged Security & Information Management (CSIM) realm,” says Phillip Stockham, vice president operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
He predicts that such CSIM solutions will “encompass the needs of multiple stakeholder types under Smart City and Smart Campus initiatives and onward to the IoT (Internet of Things)” – where having a platform underpinned by web service technologies is vital.”
Over the summer Vidsys released its latest Converged Security and Information Management (CSIM) software platform, Vidsys Enterprise 20017, with capabilities for large-scale, widely dispersed customers.
