Below is an excerpt from Digital Journal’s feature of Vidsys’ Global Security Operations Center announcement with HPE at ISC West.

Vidsys, the leading global software technology manufacturer of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) and Converged Security and Information Management (CSIM) software, today announced the launch of a simulated Intelligent Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) at ISC West in Las Vegas, NV. Through combining HPE IDOL and HPE Vertica Analytics Platform from Hewlett Packard Enterprise with Vidsys’ CSIM and event injection API interface, the Intelligent GSOC will showcase the latest converged security and safe city solutions.

The goal of the showcase will be to collaborate and interact with key industry stakeholders and organizations on how to preempt risk, while responding faster and more proactively to ever growing and more sophisticated security threats facing enterprises today. The live demonstrations will exhibit the ability to integrate, correlate and extract actionable intelligence from diverse sources of data such as cameras, sensors, access control, and social media that can deliver a game-changing advantage for businesses and government agencies.

The real-world applications for the joint solution are far-reaching, including public safety, campus security, critical infrastructure protection, transportation management, NERC-CIP compliance, and many other security and mission-critical operations where it is essential for organizations to make decisions, quickly, consistently and effectively.

“HPE is a highly valued, global partner that shares our mutual goal of empowering organizations by delivering meaningful and actionable information in real-time,” said James I. Chong, CEO and Founder of Vidsys. “We are excited to present tangible use cases to our partners and customers using Internet of Things (IoT) technology for Smart City, Smart Building, Smart Campus, and Smart Transportation networks.”
